resale levy will be applicable if you decide to purchase 2nd subsidised unit (BTO or EC) directly from HDB.

Hi,

1) Resale levy only incurred under 2 types of situations:
(a) Your 1st flat is a BTO/SBF and you purchase 2nd BTO/SBF or a new EC from the developer.
(b) Your 1st flat is a resale flat with grants and you are applying the 1st BTO/SBF or buying a new EC from the developer.

2) If you do not wish to incur this resale levy it is advisable to consider a resale HDB flat.
